VascuStatin, C-Statin

C-Statin (VascuStatin) ist ein Nahrungsergänzungsmittel der aus den Blättern der Pflanze Ackerwinde (Convolvulus arvensis) hergestellt wird.

Erfinder war Neil Riordan, der Betreiber der Firma Immuno-Technologies Cancer Clinic auf den Bahamas.

C-Statin soll krebshemmende Eigenschaften besitzen und soll die Angiogene der Krebszellen hemmen uns somit die Bildung neuer Blutgefäße verhindern. Die Angiogenese (Wachstum von Blutgefäßen) hemmenden Wirkungen wurden am Hühner-Embryo, an Tumorzellkulturen und im Tierversuch untersucht.
